Business Writing Skills in One Course
If you want training in how to write clear, effective e-mail, memos, letters, and reports in one course, enroll in BWC210 Business Writing Skills, which has all training materials online, or BWC220 Explicit Business Writing, which uses the book, Explicit Business Writing: Best Practices for the Twenty-First Century. The course is taught by the author. Graduates of both courses receive a graduation certificate with our gold seal on it for framing.
Business Writing Specialist Certificate
The Business Writing Specialist Certificate has additional, in-depth business writing training that teaches the skills required to write clear, effective, professional business documents and help others or teach others to write more effectively. This certificate is awarded to business people who have demonstrated mastery of the skills in the four key areas of business writing:
- E-mails
- Reports
- Letters
- Usage (grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentences)
Graduates receive a special certificate for framing that certifies their competence in all areas of business writing and their graduation from the following four courses:

Business Report Writing
Writing Effective Business Letters
Basic Grammar for Business
