The full-length, 13-lesson Business Writing Skills course (BWC210) and the Basic Grammar for Business course (BWC100) are comprehensive courses that train business writers thoroughly in business writing and grammar. Tuition for each course is $295. We have developed two new courses that have the same content, but require less faculty time and less trainee time. Tuition for the new courses is $95 for the grammar course and $147 for the writing course, or $195 for the two courses together.
We developed the new courses because some business people asked the Center to provide courses that they could complete quickly by skipping parts they already understood and not being required to complete practice activities for every lesson. However, they still wanted to have access to all the training necessary to write effectively and correctly.
In response, the Center has developed two courses: one containing the essential training in writing memos, letters, e-mails, and reports (BWC95 Business Writing Essentials), and the other containing a review of basic grammar for business people (BWC85 Basic Grammar Essentials). Our instructors evaluate competency writing samples, but trainees do not complete practice activities and may skim or skip lessons.
Graduates receive a certificate for framing with the Center's gold seal.
